PowerPoint add-in that writes quiz questions from your slides and collects live student answers.
- What it does
- ClassPoint runs inside Microsoft PowerPoint. Its AI quiz generator reads the slide you're on and drafts a multiple-choice, short-answer or fill-in-the-blank question, and you can set the Bloom's taxonomy level and the language. You drop the question into your deck, and students answer live from their own devices while you present. Other activity types include word cloud, slide drawing and image upload, with stars, levels and a leaderboard for gamification.
- Best for
- Teachers who already teach from PowerPoint slides and want quick check-for-understanding questions without leaving the deck.
- Price
- Basic is free: 25 students per class, up to 3 classes, 5 activity types and unlimited AI quiz generation. Pro is USD 8/month, billed USD 96 a year (200 students per class, all 8 activity types, quiz mode with auto-grading, AI Insights). Premium for schools is custom-priced (per classpoint.io/pricing, checked 2026-10-23).
- Limitation
- It only works with PowerPoint, and it's built for live questions during a lesson, not printable quizzes. On the free plan, fill-in-the-blank, audio and video activities and auto-graded quiz mode are Pro-only. Questions come from what's on the slide, so check the answers yourself, and check your district's rules before students join (a custom data agreement is a Premium feature).
