Kami
Annotate PDFs and documents with students; Questions AI turns your own materials into auto-graded questions.
- What it does
- Kami is a digital classroom document tool that works with Google Drive, OneDrive and LMSs such as Google Classroom, Schoology, Canvas and Microsoft Teams. Teachers and students annotate, comment and collaborate on PDFs and documents. Its Questions AI can Convert the questions already in a document or PDF into auto-graded questions, or Generate new multiple-choice or short-answer questions from the text, diagrams and pictures on your document, with settings for grade level (1-12), language, difficulty and Depth of Knowledge level. Results show up in Class View.
- Best for
- Teachers who already hand out worksheets and PDFs and want to make them interactive and auto-graded without rebuilding them in another app.
- Price
- Free Basic plan with 10+ essential tools. The Teacher plan is listed at USD 149 with all 40+ tools, LMS integrations and Questions AI, and new teacher accounts get a 30-day Teacher trial. School and district plans are quoted (per kamiapp.com/pricing, checked 2026-10-27).
- Limitation
- Questions AI needs a paid plan and Generate makes up to 10 questions at a time. Kami recommends reviewing every AI-generated question for accuracy before assigning, and student names and details should stay out of the documents you send to AI.
