- Nearpod is an interactive lesson platform that connects with the Renaissance ecosystem. You make your existing resources interactive or start from the Nearpod Library of 22,000+ standards-aligned lessons, videos and activities, then add formative assessments and activities so every student responds. Dashboards and reports show student understanding in real time so you can spot gaps and adjust. AI Create's Question Generator drafts multiple-choice questions for routine formative checks; its Lesson Generator builds whole interactive lessons but only comes with school and district licenses.
- Best for
- Teachers who already teach from slides and want quick checks for understanding built into the lesson, with a class report afterward.
- Price
- Free Silver plan (300 MB storage, 40 student joins per lesson, five free AI Create assessments). Individual Gold is USD 159 a year and Platinum USD 397 a year, with more storage and student joins; school and district licenses are quoted separately and add the AI Lesson Generator (per nearpod.com/pricing and nearpod.com/ai, checked 2026-10-25).
- Limitation
- On the free plan the AI Question Generator stops after five assessments and live lessons are capped at 40 students. AI Create works in English only. Nearpod says AI Create runs on an OpenAI GPT-4o mini model and isn't trained on user data; still check every generated question and keep student names and details out of prompts.
