QuestionWell
Standards-aligned quiz questions, readings and vocab that export to Kahoot, Quizizz, Canvas and more.
- What it does
- QuestionWell is an AI tool for teachers, started by a former middle school science teacher. From a topic, a standard or an uploaded file it writes multiple-choice and discussion questions, readings, vocabulary worksheets and interactive video quizzes, and shows a Bloom's level analysis so you can adjust rigor. Paid plans add fill-in-the-blank, short answer, true/false and multiple-select questions. Questions export to 15+ platforms (Kahoot, Quizizz, Canvas and others) or go out as assignments with AI grading.
- Best for
- Teachers who want a question bank they can push straight into the quiz platform they already use, with the Bloom's level of each question shown.
- Price
- Free: unlimited multiple-choice (5 or 10 at a time) and discussion questions, with monthly caps (for example 5 exports, 2 file imports, 3 months of storage). Premium: $70/yr ($5.83/mo billed annually). School/District: $100 per seat per year, 5-50 seats (per app.questionwell.org/pricing, checked 2026-10-21).
- Limitation
- Sign-in is Google or Microsoft only. Its FAQ says it stores what you type and uses it to improve question quality, and its terms forbid entering student data. Uploads with images or data tables can be misread (the FAQ suggests converting to PDF). Generated questions still need your review.
