Paste the lesson plan the AI gives you, check it, then print. It prints black on white with no menus or buttons, and the student handout starts on its own page.
Planning notes for this lesson
Prerequisite skills to check: order of operations with whole numbers; the four operations with whole numbers, fractions and decimals; words for operations such as sum, difference, product and quotient; patterns and input-output tables (5.OA.B.3).
Warm-up idea: Ask: a movie ticket costs $9. How much do 2 tickets cost? 5 tickets? Any number of tickets? Write the class's answers on the board until someone suggests using a letter.
Exit ticket idea: Students write "subtract y from 5" and "3 more than twice a number" as expressions, name the coefficient and terms in 4x + 7, and evaluate 2(x + 3) when x = 4.
Always check the AI's plan and answers before you teach.
