Grade 7 Math lesson plan: Probability of chance events
Topic: Probability of chance events from 0 to 1, experiments and simple models (7.SP.C.5-7). Adjust the settings, then copy the prompt.

Paste the lesson plan the AI gives you, check it, then print. It prints black on white with no menus or buttons, and the student handout starts on its own page.
Planning notes for this lesson
Prerequisite skills to check: writing fractions, decimals and percents for the same amount (6.RP.A.3c); reading and summarizing data in tables and dot plots (6.SP.B.4); simplifying fractions.
Warm-up idea: Hold up a paper cup and ask whether it will land on its side, open end up or open end down when tossed. Take guesses, then have pairs toss a cup 20 times and pool the class results on the board.
Exit ticket idea: Students place five events on a 0-to-1 probability line, find the theoretical probability of rolling a 3 or a 6 on a number cube, predict how many times it happens in 600 rolls, and explain why a class experiment of 30 rolls might not match the prediction.
Always check the AI's plan and answers before you teach.
