Paste the lesson plan the AI gives you, check it, then print. It prints black on white with no menus or buttons, and the student handout starts on its own page.
Planning notes for this lesson
Prerequisite skills to check: area of circles (7.G.B.4); volume of right prisms (7.G.B.6); exponents and square and cube roots (8.EE.A.2); using pi as about 3.14.
Warm-up idea: Hold up a cone-shaped paper cup and a cylinder cup with the same base and height. Ask how many cone-fulls it takes to fill the cylinder, take guesses, then pour rice or water to test it.
Exit ticket idea: Students find the volume of a cylinder with radius 3 cm and height 10 cm, a cone with the same radius and height, and a sphere with diameter 6 cm, leaving answers in terms of pi and rounded to the nearest tenth, then explain how the cone and cylinder volumes compare.
Always check the AI's plan and answers before you teach.
